Today was a beautiful day. Cold, but not too cold, and barely any wind. Too bad the days events weren't the same. It was more of a day in which it looks like its going to be great and then a sudden downpour, and you're stuck outside with no umbrella. It seems like last semesters troubles with math are reoccuring. The only difference is this time is that I can actually comprehend what my professor is saying, instead of trying not to laugh due to the fact he sounds like he's chanting. The first test the average was below 60, 1 person made a perfect score and the amount of people who made A's and B's could be counted with one hand, and maybe the amount with C's, 2 hands, and this isn't a small class, I'd say somewhere around 60-70 students. This was supposed to be a review test from Calculus 2. But what gets me is that I come out of the test thinking I did decently well, since I worked hard last semester to overcome (and overcompensate) my struggle with this professors testing methods. If that's not bad enough, this guy goes on to say that every semester people do that bad on the first test (so he's heard from the previous professor, this is this guys first semester with this course), and these classes aren't small. So you have to figure at least half the class is failing this first test for at least 2 years, and they aren't doing anything about it.

Quote of the day:
One never knows what each day is going to bring. The important thing is to be open and ready for it.
